About Us
Shot Clinic - Dentistry - Farrier
We take excellent care of all of the horses here at the ranch. We have shot clinics twice a year so you don't have to pay a vet "call-out fee". We have excellent farrier services. Once you get on schedule with the farrier you don’t have to worry about a thing. Exercise and turn-out services are available. If you would like, we feed supplements and psyllium (provided by you) at no extra charge. We are an ABM Stall Bedding Dealer so you can purchase stall bedding right here at the ranch for less than what you would pay at most feed stores. ABM is the best!

Scot and Cindy Henderson have been boarding horses since 2001.

Cindy is the former Vice-President of the Greater Lake Mathews Rural Trails Association (GLMRTA) a very well organized and respected riding club based in Riverside. She is also a certified volunteer and area representative for the Riverside Emergency Animal Rescue System (REARS) which is headed by Riverside Animal Services in coordination with the Riverside Fire Department, Riverside Sheriff’s, Office of Emergency Services and the California Highway Patrol. We are also sponsors and friends of True Innocents Equine Rescue (TIER), a horse rescue here in Riverside. Cindy is a Certified Parelli Natural Horse-man-ship Level 1, although she is not an instructor and has no illusions of becoming one the Parelli skills and knowledge sure come in handy and she is willing to assist anyone wanting to learn about Parelli.

We love trail riding in Harford Springs Park, horse camping and trailering around to the different equestrian parks. We hope you and your horse will come join us for a trail ride or even a weekend camp-out.
Trail Riders

Enjoy the wildlife and wildflowers in beautiful Harford Springs Wildlife Preserve. Only a ten minute ride from our ranch. You can ride for hours in the quiet, natural environment of the 880 acre preserve. No traffic or distractions, just beautiful scenery. Keep a look out for the horned toads, red tailed hawks, sparrow hawks, black winged kites, borrowing owls, cotton tails and an occasional coyote or two. March through July see what wildflowers will pop-up next.

Lake Perris is only a 30 minute drive away and you can ride your horses around the entire lake in about three hours. When you get back to the staging area they have stalls for your horses, clean restrooms and lots of picnic tables under nice, big pepper trees. You can also camp there over night with your horses.
Endurance Riders
Harford Springs is a great place to condition your horse.  There are flat areas, small hills and also some more serious hills for those conditioning rides.  Trails are sandy in about 35% of the park and the rest is mostly packed DG on pretty well groomed trails.
